    Guidelines on "How to register a complaint?":

  1. First, you need to register yourself with a valid Consumer No. in the "Consumer Details" form
  2. Once successfully done, you will be navigated to the "Problem Details" form wherein you will register the complaint:
    1. The "Complaint Id" field is auto generated and will be used for any future references.
    2. You then need to put the "Problem Category" which can be one of the following:
      1. Supply Off complaints
      2. Power Thefts
      3. Other complaints and suggestions
      4. Grievance Redressal
    3. The "Problem Type" dropdown will depend on the category chosen and will be populated accordingly.
    4. There is a "Description" field for most complaint types. It is free text and the complaint lodger is expected to fill up a valid description here
    5. For "Supply Off complaints", the user needs to fill in fields like "Lamp Post No.", 'Meter No." and "Supply Type".
    6. For "Power Thefts", there are relevant fields like "Time" and "Police Station".
    7. In "Other complaints and suggestions" category, the user is free to give any suggestions that he feels might improve the effictiveness of this complaint registration portal
    8. In "Grievance Redressal" category, consumer needs to select the location "Area". Baed on the area, email will be sent to the concerned Deputy Managers.
  3. After successfully lodging a complain, a mail will be shot to the authorities giving the details of the complaint.
